There is no day like today to go vegan

There is no need or reason to gradually go vegan.  Gradually going vegan only prolongs suffering; both the animals and yours.

In fact, gradually going vegan is not a recipe for success it is a recipe for failure.  The meat, dairy, and fast food industries are all about addiction.  In fact, dairy on it's own has products that make it highly addictive.  Telling someone to gradually go vegan, is like telling an alcoholic to gradually cut down on their alcohol.

If you need to make your vegan transition easier there are several things I recommend:

  • Take a vegan multi-vitamin
  • Don't obsess over healthy vegan eating right away.  Buy some vegan comfort foods to help ease your transition.  Once you've gotten used to being vegan, than you can start focusing on healthy foods.
  • Get used to eating before you go to events and bring snacks with you (even if you are supposed to be getting a vegan meal it won't always happen and you don't want to be starving).
  • On that note get used to doing a little bit more planning (such as when you travel)
  • If you need support reach out to the vegan community on social media.
  • And remind yourself that the animals suffering and being murdered today, don't have the luxury of tomorrow.
